Required equipment
A set of manual electric welding equipment, a hand-held angle grinder, an electric pneumatic hammer, and a flat ruler.
Preparation before welding
1. Check and debug the equipment to ensure that the equipment is operating normally; 2. Prepare φ4.0J402 welding rods. It is best to dry them at 300℃-350℃ for one hour.
Welding process
1. Assemble the cone and the large flange according to the requirements of the drawing, and then divide the large flange into 8 equal parts.
2. Welding Since the flange is thicker and the groove is larger, segmented symmetrical and multi-layer welding is adopted.
Weld quality
The weld strength is required to be at least as strong as the parent material. The weld surface is flat and smooth, without defects such as burn-through, pores, welding leakage, slag inclusion, undercut, and incomplete welding. The excess height is less than 2mm.
Precautions
1. When priming, you must use J506 welding rods for manual surfacing and use low current welding. Weld strictly according to the welding process.
2. After each position is welded, use a level ruler to check the deformation of the flange plane.
3. While welding, use an air hammer to hammer the weld to eliminate stress.
